This mosaic like painting is intended to show the busy, joyful buzzing of life within the close quarters, and squared corners of the city. The colors of this painting come from the reflection of light off the Pacific Ocean as seen in the congested realms of Southern California. The shapes are quite similar to each other and at the same time no two shapes are the same, in the same way we are shaped by our world to fit together, yet maintain our individuality.
